NYC Kids RISE Scholarship Accounts: Free College & Career Savings Opportunity for District 31 Families
Community School District 31 is encouraging families of students in grades K–4 to activate their child's NYC Scholarship Account through the NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program.
Every eligible student can receive scholarship funds to help support future college and career goals. By activating and engaging with their account, families may unlock additional opportunities to increase scholarship savings over time.
Who Is Eligible?
Students enrolled in NYC public schools in grades K–4 may be eligible to participate in the program.
How to Get Started
Families who have not yet activated their child's NYC Scholarship Account are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

Information You'll Need
To activate your child's account, please have the following information available:
- Child's home ZIP code
- Child's date of birth
- Child's 9-digit Student ID (OSIS) number
No Additional Documentation Required
Families do not need a Social Security Number, ITIN, bank account, or immigration status documentation to participate in the program.
