P.S. 54's music program, under the direction of Mrs. Andrea F.C. DeMaso, adheres to the standards of instruction set forth in the NYC Blueprint for the Arts and the NYS Learning Standards for the Arts. This year's instructional framework in our music program draws upon the work of Dr. Gholdy Muhammad and her 5 pursuits for education: identity, skill, intellect, criticality, and joy.
